Global vs per-network content
Write once for all networks, or adapt a single network without touching the others: cards, carrying changes over, time zone.
This is the most useful thing to understand in the composer, and the one people miss most often. In Sofia, each chosen network has its own card, with its text, media, format and time.

You do not write five times. Click “Write with Sofia”: she writes one text per network, in its format and in your tone. You can also write on one card and ask Sofia to take that text over for the others (see below).
For most posts, that is all you need.
Adapting a single network
When a network needs different words (a different length, a calmer tone on LinkedIn, a shorter text on X), open its card and edit its text. This change does not touch the other networks until you decide to carry it over.
Carrying your changes over
After editing one network’s text, Sofia asks “Carry your changes over to …?” and offers two ways to do it:
- “Sofia adapts” (recommended): the same message, in each network’s format. For example, she shortens it to 280 characters for X.
- “Copy as is”: the same text everywhere. If the text is too long for a network, Sofia says so with its limit.
What is set network by network
Some settings only make sense on one network, so they live in its card:
- the format (post, reel, story, carousel, thread, article…);
- the visibility “Who sees it”, offered by TikTok only;
- the TikTok settings: comments, duets, stitches, commercial content, and the choice between publishing or sending a draft;
- the sending time: each network goes out with its own.
If you change a card’s time zone, Sofia asks for the scope: “This network” (only that network goes out at the chosen time) or “The whole establishment” (the establishment switches to that time zone for all its posts).
When to carry over, when to adapt
Carry over
- The same announcement everywhere.
- Content you will still tweak: fix a single text, then “Sofia adapts”.
Adapt one network
- A network needs a different length and the character counter flags an overflow.
- Hashtag habits differ from one network to another.
- The tone changes: calmer on LinkedIn, shorter on X.
To remove a network, deselect its account: Sofia confirms “Remove the network”. The text and media written for that network are lost, the other networks do not change.
Editing an existing post
In the list of posts, “Edit” reopens the post in the composer. A post that is already live is edited differently: only the message changes, the destination, media and scheduling cannot be changed, and the edit only applies to the post on the network concerned. Most networks do not allow editing after publishing anyway; the composer says so.
Campaigns as a shortcut
If you always publish at the same rhythm, a campaign prepares the posts of its plan for you, each with its text and time that you can still edit.
