Post actions and statistics

Edit, approve, share, delete and read a post’s results, then understand a failure and recover from it without duplicates.

Every post has its actions, in the list of posts as in the calendar. The results of a published post are read in its report.

The card actions

ActionWhat it does
EditReopens the post in the composer
ApproveApproves a post to review (it asks for a visual when the network requires one)
Try againRestarts the sending of a failed post
See the reportOpens the post’s results
Share linkCreates a read-only public preview, see Sharing a post for approval
Delete…Deletes the post

The list of posts (“Upcoming”, “Drafts”, “Approvals”, “Published”) sorts by date, views, engagement or interactions, and “Group” arranges the cards.

Deleting

“Delete…” asks for confirmation, because deletion is permanent. When the network allows it, Sofia also removes the post from the network. Otherwise the post stays live on the network, and the dialog says so before you confirm.

Statistics

The report of a published post presents a table per network, the best network, the history of the figures and the next steps. From the calendar, the preview’s “Figures” tab gives the key figures, compared with your median after 5 measured posts.

Understanding a failed post

A post in Failed (or Partial failure, when only some networks failed) shows the reason for the failure. The possible reasons:

  • The account is disconnected.
  • The content is rejected by the network.
  • The media is rejected, or there are too many media files.
  • The caption is rejected.
  • The network is unavailable.
  • Too many sends in a row.

Recovering a failed post

  • “Reconnect”: the account must be reconnected (see Manage a network).
  • “Try again”: nothing was published, so retrying creates no duplicate.
  • “Edit”: fix the rejected content or media, then retry.

A failure also shows in Home’s tasks. For a step-by-step guide, see Troubleshooting.
