The AI connector
Add Sofia to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini CLI or Claude Code to write, schedule and analyze from the assistant you already use.
The connector adds Sofia to your AI assistant. Instead of opening the app, you ask your assistant, and it acts in Sofia according to the rights you have granted it. There is no key or password to paste.

In the settings, “Connected apps” section, “Connect an assistant” button. Setting it up takes about two minutes.
Connecting an assistant
- Copy the connector address. It is the only thing to give your assistant.
- Choose your assistant in the “AI assistant” list: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI or Claude Code. The steps adapt.
- Give your approval on Sofia’s consent page, which opens in your browser. The assistant never sees your password.
Once you have approved, the assistant appears on the page, with what it can do.
Depending on the assistant
| Assistant | What you do |
|---|---|
| Claude | Settings → Connectors, then “Add custom connector”: name it Sofia and paste the address. |
| ChatGPT | Turn on developer mode in the settings (depending on your subscription), create a connector named Sofia and paste the address. |
| Cursor | Add Sofia to the project’s .cursor/mcp.json file (or ~/.cursor/mcp.json for all your projects), then enable it in the MCP settings. |
| Gemini CLI | Add Sofia to the ~/.gemini/settings.json file, restart Gemini CLI, then type /mcp auth sofia. |
| Claude Code | Simplest: install the Sofia plugin. Otherwise, add the connector by hand, then type /mcp and choose Sofia. |
What it can do
Each assistant is given rights, one by one. Reading first; publishing only the day you ask for it.
| Right | What it allows |
|---|---|
| View | View your establishment, your media and your posts. |
| Draft | Write and edit posts and campaigns, without publishing them. |
| Publish | Publish and schedule posts in your name. |
| Stats | Read your statistics and the comments on your posts. |
| Media | Add images and videos to your media library. |
The establishment is chosen in the conversation, among those you are a member of.
Removing access
The “Connected apps” page lists your assistants with what they are allowed to do, the date they connected and their last activity. “Revoke access” stops one connection; “Revoke all” cuts all of an assistant’s connections. The assistant can then no longer act for you.
The agent versus the connector
The agent is Sofia’s conversation, inside the app. If you prefer to drive Sofia from a client you already use, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or another, plug it in with the connector: you choose the tool, and it works with everything that client already knows how to do.
